Gary Player Village at Mountain Park is planned to be a vibrant European style community gathering place made up of sidewalk cafes, an outdoor outfitters shop, other high-quality retail establishments, and innovative office spaces. This facility, which will be completed by the Summer of 2008, will feature Old World village design components emphasizing exteriors of stucco and stone and concrete barrel tile roofs.
"The Black Knight North American Headquarters" will span 12,000 square feet across two stories in the heart of The Village. This new home for the divisions of the Gary Player Group will be The Village's landmark building adjacent to a 13-acre pond complemented with exterior gardens and trellises. This central building will have a 40-foot tower designed to take in spectacular views of the Gary Player Signature golf course and panoramic Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Headquarters will have divisions for 'Player Real Estate' which is committed to designing custom homes within residential experiences associated with Gary Player-designed golf courses; and offices for the
'Gary Player Academies' offering exceptional golf instruction through the 'World of Golf' performance centers. State-of-the-art technologies will be utilized in a contemporary, open office plan.
Inside Gary Player's new corporate headquarters, a trophy room will display all of Gary Player's historical career documents and trophies from a lifetime of achievement on and off the golf course.
The Old World Village concept with its walking trails, plentiful outdoor spaces, and lush mountain vistas will make this iconic among the Player properties and will be recognized globally for its unique design, materials, and spectacular views.
